The
truncated cone element creates a truncated cone having a diameter of 1 and a height of 1 and balanced around the coordinate system origin (the upper base intersecting the Y axis in point 0.5, the lower base intersecting the Y axis in point -0.5). As the element parameter a numeric value is specified representing the truncated cone's upper base diameter. The complexity (i.e. the number of the truncated cone's circumference divisions) is determined by the
complexity of object element. For every 8 object complexity degrees 1 additional circumference stripe (a row of points) is added. For every 20 object complexity degrees 1 additional upper base and lower base stripe (interstage) is added. By setting the
create upper base and
create lower base switches can be decided, whether the truncated cone's upper or lower base is supposed to be created. The element returns the
identification number of the created truncated cone.
