The
filling surfaces element is a logic switch. If it is on, then the faces that the objects consist of, are filled with color or texture. If the switch is off, the objects are displayed only by means of line contours (wireframe). The display of the back face contours can be controlled by the
visible object side switch. (In some videocards the back face contours cannot be switched off, e.g. in the STB Velocity).
The filling of surfaces can be switched off in an object separately by the
filling object surfaces command (for an
active object). If the
filling surfaces switch is switched off, then the filling of surfaces is switched off in any object, independently on the settings of switches for filling the surfaces of individual objects. The default setting of all switches is ON.
