Active application is an application in which the user’s key input is in progress. The program is activated by setting the flag; by resetting the flag that application is activated which was active last. This element is intended above all for games running in the full screen mode. If a program (game) finds that it has ceased to be an active application (i.e. the user has switched over to another application) it should stop and remain stopped till it is activated by the user again.
