cylinder element creates a cylinder having a diameter of 1 and a height of 1 and balanced around the coordinate system origin (the upper base intersecting the Y axis in point 0.5, the lower base intersecting the Y axis in point -0.5). The complexity (i.e. the number of the cylinder circumference divisions) is determined by the
complexity of object element. For every 8 object complexity degrees 1 additional circumference stripe (a row of points) is added. For every 20 object complexity degrees 1 additional upper base and lower base stripe (interstage) is added. By setting the
create upper base and
create lower base switches can be decided, whether the cylinder's upper or lower base is supposed to be created. The element returns the
identification number of the created cylinder.
